Post-journey integration sessions are offered in-person or via telehealth for those choosing to do so on their own at home. Integration is vital to processing mindful experiences using substances as psilocybin, ketamine, and MDMA.

About Psychedelic-Assisted Sessions

Intake & Preparation Session

This step is similar to an intake for traditional talk therapy. We are gathering background information and exploring your therapy goals. We will also explain the protocol for your psychedelic session, explore intentions, and identify strategies for a successful set and setting for your psychedelic session. Treatment consists of up to 3 preparation sessions at 60-90 minutes each.

Psychedelic Session

At the start of your appointment, you will take your medicine, which will have been prescribed by one of our prescribing partners. Our office has serene lighting, music, and scents to create a relaxing environment for your psychedelic experience. While we wait for the medicine to activate, we will continue to reflect on your intentions. As the medicine becomes active, most people choose to lie down and connect with their internal experience. As the medicine wears off, we will review your intentions, share insights, explore what you learned, and begin to identify changes you'd like to make based on your experience. Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Sessions assisted sessions are approximately 2-4 hours, followed by an integration session the next day. You may elect to incorporate EMDR Therapy into Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Sessions at no additional charge.

Integration Session

Integration allows us to continue building on the psychedelic experience. During integration, we will build on your intentions and identify changes to make in order to embody the experience. This is an integral part of the psychedelic experience and in ensuring lasting effects. Integration sessions are approximately 60-90 minutes.
