About DAWN
Greetings and welcome! I'm a dedicated registered psychotherapist and an addiction counselor candidate, deeply committed to guiding individuals from various backgrounds toward a brighter, healthier future. I am dedicated to creating a confidential, secure, and judgment-free sanctuary where clients can openly and authentically address life's challenges, including stressors and traumatic events that have left a lasting impact.
My extensive experience spans a wide spectrum, from assisting individuals to supporting children and families navigating complex issues such as poverty, child neglect, grief, trauma, relationship struggles, self-esteem concerns, depression, parenting, stress management, substance abuse, and mental health challenges. I have honed my skills in various settings, including home and community-based therapy as well as outpatient treatment. My therapeutic toolkit encompasses a range of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and a Person-Centered Approach (PCA).
I truly acknowledge the courage it takes to seek help, and as your therapist, I am dedicated to tailoring each session to your unique needs. You will find in me a supportive, respectful, and compassionate partner, ready to provide you with a safe space for self-expression. Together, we will collaboratively set goals and develop strategies to overcome obstacles and enhance every aspect of your life. My unwavering passion lies in helping individuals grow and conquer the challenges that may have hindered them from realizing their full potential.
I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to meet you and want you to know that you are never alone in facing life's challenges.
