Health First Colorado Medicaid is divided into regional account entities (RAE). Your RAE is assigned based on where your Primary Care Physician (PCP) is located.
We are currently able to accept the following regions (RAEs) if you have Medicaid:
Colorado Access: Regions 3 & 5
Denver Health Medicaid Choice: Region 5
Colorado Community Health Alliance (CCHA): Regions 6 & 7
Rocky Mountain Health Plans (RMHP): Region 1
We anticipate to begin supporting Region 4 for Health Colorado, Inc. soon.

Couples & Family Counseling and EMDR Therapy are also covered by Medicaid.

If you are uncertain if we accept your specific insurance plan, or which Medicaid region you are in, please reach out with the name of your insurance provider & your Member ID. We can verify your eligibility and and out of pocket costs, such as copay or coinsurance, before you schedule with us.
Additional Information
We regret that we are no longer accepting Anthem/Blue Cross clients due to high rates of claim denial and difficulties with provider services communication. Our contract ended June 30, 2023.
Please note that we do not accept Employee Assistance Plans (EAP).
EMDR Therapy is typically covered by insurance. Medicaid will cover EMDR sessions up to 90 minutes. Aetna, Cigna, and United/Optum will cover EMDR sessions up to 60 minutes, and you may opt to self-pay for an additional 30 minutes if you prefer to schedule a 90-minute session.
TRE and Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy are not covered by insurance.
Payment or copay is due at time of service. We do not offer free consultations or phone calls.
